Dan was raised in Minnetonka, MN and received his bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Kansas completing a semester at sea. Hinkel, 38, passed away suddenly on July 20, 2022.īorn on April 23, 1984, in Manhattan, New York, he was the son of Jean-Denis and Amy (Freedman) Hinkel.
